For over ten years, I’ve been writing passionate fiction – romantic, erotic, and/or kinky – with stories published in several Best Erotica of the Year anthologies as well as releases from Harlequin’s Carina imprint and Circlet Press. You’ll probably like them if you share my interest in femdom (gentle or otherwise), beta heroes, bisexuality, polyamory, ghosts and grief, hurt/comfort, pegging, nonpenetrative sex, scars, bondage, escapes, sex where the characters have a lot of boundaries to navigate, science fiction and fantasy, historical fiction, witches, knights, religion and sacrilege, forbidden love, retellings and tributes to well-known stories and historical figures, M/M and F/F as well as F/M pairings, flash fiction, wordplay, second person POV, and/or characters without an established gender.
I love how the short story form creates opportunities to explore different characters, settings, and styles. And I also write longer pieces, plus the occasional poem. In addition to writing, I’m the owner of a small editing business in Wisconsin (one answer to the question, “What do you do with a philosophy degree?”) and a volunteer with several local organizations. With co-editors Alex Freeman and Guinevere Chase, I put together anthologies of fun and literary erotica through the New Smut Project micropress.
